On Friday August 10, 2018 at 4 pm, Mr. Abdoulaye Diouf SARR, Minister of Health and Social Action (MSAS) and the administrative and municipal authorities of the Commune of Yeumbeul inaugurated the ARISTIDE MENSAH Integrated Community Health and Development Center located at Cité COMICO 4 in Yeumbeul. The project, made a reality thanks to the vision of the Institut de la Formation et de la Recherche en Urologie et Santé Familiale (IFRU-SF) chaired by Professor Serigne Magueye GUEYE, has benefited from the support of institutional and individual partners, some of whom remain anonymous. In his speech, the Minister of Health said he was heartened by the presence of the minimum package of services, coupled with consultations in specialties such as Urology, Gynecology and Pediatrics. According to Mr. Abdoulaye Diouf SARR, "initiatives such as these help to build a resilient healthcare system. A system that will ensure equity in the provision of healthcare services to communities". Mr. Daouda NDIAYE, Mayor of the Commune of Yeumbeul Nord, expressed his satisfaction at seeing such an infrastructure built in his area. He expressed his delight at the expanded range of care on offer, which helps to make quality care financially and geographically accessible, at a cost that the people of Yeumbeul can largely afford.

By 2050, 843 million people are projected to fall into this category. Risk factors are work-related ergonomic factors, obesity, and smoking. Study shows low back pain increases with age and the peak age impacted is 85. Globally, low back pain is more prevalent in women than men in all age groups. Regions with the highest occurrence of low back pain are Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and Australasia.
